Isabelle nodded, “Of course.”
“Now, what is it precisely that they call you, my dear?”
“Isabelle, daughter of Hades.” The demigod replied, her hands going into her pockets. “What about you?”
“I am Magneto. But you may call me Erik, Miss Isabelle, ‘daughter of Hades’.”
“Simply paying a cordial visit, that’s all. I trust that won’t be a problem?”
“I suppose not, but if its the Professor you’re looking for I’m afraid he’s not here”
“How unfortunate…I was hoping to be able to converse with my old friend. It’s been too long, after all. You wouldn’t happen to have any idea when he’ll return, do you?”
Charles sighed taking his hand back.”We have been getting along just fine…you’re taking care of Raven aren’t you?”
“I’m looking after her, just as I promised. But she’s a strong, independent young woman, Charles. She’s quite capable and quite comfortable on her own, I assure you.”
He nodded. “You know…it’s been different without you.”
Erik looked down, refusing to meet the other’s gaze. “…your point?”
“I’m just walking home; sadly this is the only way to get to it.”
“Well, seeing as we appear to be headed in the same direction, might I be so bold as to inquire if I may walk with you a ways? You know, simply to ensure your safety.”
“I don’t see why not, some company would be nice anyways.”
“Wonderful.” Erik replied with a slight grin. “Erik Lehnsherr, by the way. Pleased to meet you.”
“Oh, for heaven’s sake, Charles, if you feel ill, then lie down and rest. There’s no need to be overdramatic.”
“I´m not being overdramatic and I still need to finish some paperwork” he usually wasn´t a whinning baby “it´s the first time I got sick I don´t know what to do, would you make soup for me?”
“If I prepare something for you and assist you in your paperwork, do you promise to stop acting like a small child?”
So, can I help you with something or just looking at the amazing view.
“The latter. It is rather exquisite, isn’t it? I find myself quite entranced by it.”
You know, I thought I was the only one who knew about this place… I guess not -chuckles-
“I’m sure we could work something out.” Erik noted with a slight smile. “After all, a view of this grandeur and magnitude is clearly meant to be appreciated by more than one individual at a time.”
Amy lost control of the Tardis for a moment , not that it was unusual for the Tardis to do whatever she liked, even the Doctor could barely contain her. Smoke filled the room to the point that Amy had to open the door and step out.
She…
“The thought had never crossed my mind.” Erik replied, shrugging slightly, more concerned with the mess this clearly mentally ill woman’s flaming blue box would cause to the gardens. “It all sounds rather fantastical, don’t you think?”
“It is the latter. And your opinion on my choice of name is dully noted.”
“That being said, is the suit /actually/ iron? I admit, I’m rather curious…”
“It’s actually a gold-titanium alloy. The papers gave me the name, I liked it. It’s one of my favorite songs, but I guess it’s misleading.”
He shrugged. “Did you pick your little alias there, Erik?”
“Alas, I did not. A friend of mine did. Rather childish, I thought at first, but it did sort of stick after awhile.”
“Never been one for rules and regulations. And, since you seem to be enforcing them in this case, I presume you are not, like me, trespassing.”
❝ You presume correctly—
I live here and you’re on government property.
Are you really only here to rebel?
Because, offense intended, that’s pretty fucking lame.
But if you’ve got an actual reason, I’m dying to hear it. ❞
“My quarrel is not with you, young one. Stand down now, and I’m perfectly content on parting ways with you and leaving this slight misunderstanding behind us.”
